What is SHIFTED?

A showcase of five entrepreneurs and leaders recounting their stories of bumps in the road, “aha!” moments, down and dirty failures, fears faced and choices grabbed by the throat. The moments where life handed them a sack of lemons and instead of puckering, they persevered.
It’s .22¢ a minute to get the straight goods from five authentic leaders on what it’s like to fall down and get back up again.

Why SHIFTED?

Really, only successful people like success stories. To the rest of us, still trying to find our way, they’re more of a kick in the teeth. “Look what she accomplished by my age – BIFF!” “Look how happy he is, secure and content with his career and life – POW!” It’s time to collect your molars littering the pavement and look forward. We’ve created an event to ask honest questions, to think on how your failures can begat success, and how trying times can be your opportunity to get SHIFTED.

We’re seeking to demystify “success” and raise money for an organization that we totally dig.

SHIFTED is a Creatribution: a fundraising project that leverages our passions and unique talents so that we may contribute to imagine1day in our own distinct way. imagine1day directs 100% of its revenues to their educational efforts on the ground in Ethiopia. The ultimate goal is quality education for all Ethiopians funded free of foreign aid by 2030.

Who is behind SHIFTED?
The SHIFTED team is a group of volunteers who, like our audience, are discovering our passions and are committed to creating positive social change. SHIFTED will raise $10,000 for imagine1day in their mission to provide quality primary education to Ethiopia by 2020.

100% of the cost of your ticket will go directly towards imagine1day’s mission of providing quality primary education to Ethiopian children.  Nothing is taken off the top – no admin fees, no nothing.
